Volunteers from the Samu Social/homeless : what teach us the imaginary conditions of a contact
Encadrante technique en chantier d’insertion, Psychologue clinicienne. Sarthe
Abstract
Volunteers from the Samu Social (municipal social humanitarian emergency service) from Le Mans and homeless, trespectives identities melt up the point that being “without” and “out off’ opens up the possibility for a contact, which the contemporary social link normally refuses. The conditions for an exchange which is directed towards emotions, which are adapted unceasingly, since they are dedicated to be transitory. There, the distance is like a rubber band. Most of the time, it invades all the space, and is active all through the conversation. Sometimes it can extend too far sometimes retract too close, evolving from dumbness to logomania, from vociferation to enthusiasm. What the Samu Social teaches us that beyond first-aid, it is the territory from the Otherness what we need to go beyond our limits towards the possibility to go beyond the significant… and the right to be refused.
