Résumé

Folie : mot-signifiant banalisé dont l’usage ancien recouvre l’étendue de la condition humaine. Au-delà d’une fascination toujours présente et malgré la douleur si patente, d’anagramme en vérité, nombre d’auteurs, poètes, philosophes, romanciers en ont décliné les modulations dans ce langage qui nous habite et nous façonne pour en trouver l’essence ou les sens si souvent divergents… La psychanalyse de Freud à Lacan en a fait son lit comme Devos son miel et nous complétons notre tour avec un peu de clinique.

Abstract

Madness : a word both banal and significant, whose historical use covers the whole scope of the human condition. Beyond an omnipresent fascination and in spite of the obvious pain involved, numerous authors, poets, philosophers and novelists, from anagram to truth, have probed the language that shapes us, exploring its many modulations in an attempt to find the true essence within so many senses. From Freud to Lacan, psychoanalysis has delved as deeply into the subject as Devos digging for comedy gold. This article seeks to add a touch of clinical insight.
