Résumé

En reprenant la place importante que Jacques Lacan donna aux travaux d’Edmund Bergler, notamment concernant la névrose de base, nous montrons la critique qu’il en fît, critique qui lui permit d’approfondir la fonction du fantasme fondamental au coeur de la structure névrotique, en tant qu’elle touche aussi à la question de la fin de la cure analytique. Nous approchons du même coup la portée de la théorie dans le champ de la psychanalyse, en tant qu’elle peut se nourrir du fantasme.

Abstract

The text studies the place that Jacque Lacan has give to Edmund Bergler’s works, specially about the basic neurosis. The author show the lacanian critic of Bergler’s theory, critic that allows Lacan to explore the concept of the fundamental fantasy, “A child is being beaten”, at the foundation of the neurosis structure. It’s also the question of the psychoanalysis treatment’s end that is explored, thus the consequence of the analysis theory for the psychoanalyst, theory that can sometimes be based on fantasy.
