La loi Bachelot crée un nouveau métier : psychothérapeute

Résumé

L’article 91 de la loi Bachelot du 24 juin 2009 institue un titre de psychothérapeute. Les rapports de santé mentale qui le précèdent et l’encadrent ajoutés à la déréglementation de la profession de psychologue clinicien consacrent la naissance d’une nouvelle profession qui relève de la logique médicale et du concept de santé mentale. Si la demande de soin psychique doit relever du modèle du soin médical, comment les psychanalystes, à présent nommés dans une loi de santé publique, parviendront-ils à soutenir la différence de leur acte et à éloigner le spectre de l’évaluation ?

Abstract

Article 91 of the law presented by R. Bachelot which has been adopted by on June 24^th, 2009, institutes the title of psychotherapist. The reports on mental health, which precede and organize this article, as well as the deregulation concerning the profession of clinical psychologist, introduce a new profession, which has to do with the medical model and the concept of mental health. If the demand for psychological care is to be modeled on medical healthcare, how will the psychoanalysts – whose profession is now organized by a public healthcare law – be able both to maintain what distinguishes them professionally and to keep at bay the spectre of evaluation?
