Habiter le transfert ?

Résumé

Penser « l’habiter » à partir d’une perspective psychanalytique implique d’envisager le rapport humain au lieu en dehors des frontières habituelles de l’espace matériel et admettre l’existence de « hors-lieux » psychiques pourtant investis par le sujet. Par un cheminement qui va des paradoxes de « l’intime » à la notion lacanienne « d’extime », nous proposons de parcourir une géographie psychique singulière : celle de Monsieur H et sa fabrication d’un « terrier pour habiter ». Malgré un rapport au corps et à l’autre en souffrance, son expérience témoigne d’une tentative ingénieuse et acharnée « d’habiter le transfert », à entendre à la fois comme un espace et un mouvement ouverts entre deux êtres.

Abstract

Considering the notion of “inhabiting” from a psychoanalytic perspective implies a view of the human relationship to a given Site, going beyond the usual borders of physical space which may define it. This, in turn, requires the acceptance of a psychic “off site” in which the subject can become involved. Starting off from the paradoxes of the intimate, by way of the Lacanian notion of “the extime”, we propose a journey through a singular psychic geography : that of Mr. H and his construction of a “burrow to inhabit”. Inspite of a tormented relationship to Body and to Other, his is an ingenious and relentless attempt at “inhabiting transference”, which can be taken to mean both “a space” and “open movement between two beings”.
